Sputnik - 50th Anniversary
Googleのロゴが10/4はこんなです。クリックしてみたら・・・「Sputnik - 50th Anniversary」ということ。
スプートニク計画というのは、旧ソ連によって行われた人類初の無人人工衛星計画。その第1号「スプートニク1号」が1957年10月4日に打ち上げられてから今年でちょうど50周年らしいです。
私のハンドルネームであるLaika（ライカ）というのは、スプートニク2号で初めて宇宙へ行った犬のことで、犬種であるという説もあれば犬の名前であるという説もあったり、いろいろ説はあるので確実なことは分かりませんが、とりあえず初めて宇宙に行った犬のことだというのが由来です。
まあ高校の頃から大好きな長野まゆみさんの小説によく出てきて、響きが気に入ったので、というのが大きな理由ですが。。
そんなわけで色々Googleから飛んでみております。
